Dr. Sachin N Patil is a specialist in Interventional Cardiology (Cardiac Surgeon In Kolhapur) at Aster Aadhar Hospital in Kolhapur, independently handling the Cath-Lab Department and all angioplasty procedures.

Dr. Sachin Patil graduated from Grant Medical College and Sir JJ Group of Hospitals in Mumbai, one of the oldest and most prestigious medical colleges in the country, clearing each year with distinction. He next obtained the postgraduate MD (Medicine) degree from Shivaji University, through Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Karad, topping his university batch. He then qualified as a Cardiologist by clearing the DNB (Cardiology) examination of the National Board of Examinations, through the CARE Group of Hospitals in Hyderabad.

Dr. Sachin Patil has been instrumental in initiating and aggressively practicing Trans-Radial interventions in the western Maharashtra region. He launched the PAMI programme at Aster Aadhar Hospital in Kolhapur, providing timely and round-the-clock life-saving services for patients suffering from acute heart attacks. The hospital does the highest number of primary angioplasties in the region and has evolved into a referral center for complex interventional work.

Dr. Sachin Patil is a pioneer in complex angioplasties and multi-vessel PCI in Kolhapur. His expertise ranges from complex multi-vessel interventions to LMCA lesions, bifurcation angioplasties and CTOs. He started the peripheral angioplasty programme in the western Maharashtra region, providing limb-saving and at times life-saving treatment to patients with acute limb ischemia and PVD. He has a keen interest in a variety of areas such as peripheral, renal and carotid artery interventions, and catheter-based novel treatment options.

Dr. Patil has delivered a number of lectures on public health and heart attack awareness in various public forums and participated in cardiac health discussions on radio and TV. This is a multi-talented and multidimensional personality with good skills in sports and games such as cricket, badminton, volleyball and carrom. Dr. Sachin Patil is well trained in Yoga and Pranayama, and regularly conducts sessions for local physicians and the general public.
